Sometimes hiring an attorney is the best way to resolve a consumer problem. Many attorneys will provide initial consultations for free or at reduced rates. In some consumer cases, you may be entitled to recover attorneys fees from the opposing party if you prevail. Some attorneys will accept consumer cases on a contingent fee basis, which means the attorney gets paid a percentage of the money you recover from the opposing side.
